Kiwanis Club of Downtown Oklahoma City Welcomes 106th President

OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 22, 2023) – The Kiwanis Club of Downtown Oklahoma City will welcome its 106th president, Kelsey A. Chilcoat, on Oct. 1.

On Sept. 21, 15 past presidents held an annual dinner to welcome the incoming president. The club’s president stick, naming each president since 1918, was passed to Chilcoat. Chilcoat will serve in this volunteer role as president of the Kiwanis Club of Downtown OKC over the next year.

A Choctaw native, Chilcoat earned a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and a law degree from the University of Tulsa.  She is currently an associate at Phillips Murrah, where her practice focuses on commercial litigation.  An established community leader, Chilcoat is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, and serve as a member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Uptown 23rd District Association.

“Kelsey has proven herself to be an exemplary leader and dedicated servant of our community,” said Kyle Foster, 105th club president. “Our club will be in excellent hands with her as our president.”
