SUMMARY:July 31st Club Meeting: Rozz Grigsby, Lyric Theatre’s Thelma Gaylord Academy
DESCRIPTION:Rozz Grigsby (she/they) is the Director of Education at Lyric Theatre’s Thelma Gaylord Academy. Previously she served as Education and Community Outreach Director at Oklahoma Children’s Theatre, and as a teaching artist and Festivals Coordinator for the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Rozz received her BFA in Theatre Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma and attended the University of Central Florida’s Theatre for Young Audiences MFA program. At the Academy, she creates performing arts curriculum, manages camp and production administration, directs & produces professional-scale productions with children and youth, and manages the Academy partnership with Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma County. As an Oklahoma native, it is her passion and mission to bring performing arts education to more Oklahoma youth.
